Meet Camille

Hello!

My name is Camille Clausen, the owner/founder of Moonlight Avenue.

I am a portrait photographer from Montana who has been shooting professionally for the last 11 years. In the last couple of those years, I’ve started other creative ventures that have helped expand my reach and message. My goal is to empower others who want more for their life. To accept and embrace the REAL in themselves...find humor and inspiration in it, while also stepping outside of their comfort zone to chase the life they’re capable of. I want to help women who feel painfully ordinary, or who have walked through really hard things, see the beauty in themselves that make them extraordinary.

I am wife to Kevin and mama of three, our oldest angel baby (8), Kroy (7), and Avenue (3). Our first daughter was stillborn at 5 months pregnant and the inspiration for my brand Montana Moonlight. From there, Moonlight Avenue (named in honor of my two girls) was born as a platform to not only talk about infant loss and stillbirth, but to raise money for others walking through the heartbreak of losing a child.

I am an entrepreneur who believes that with a little creativity, a LOT of hard work, and chasing after things you feel in your gut are right (even if they don’t always make sense)...that you CAN have your cake and eat it too.

I love business and wear many hats when it comes to mine and building a brand. But at the end of the day, I’m really just an over-sensitive free spirit who loves to eat nachos and take naps. My love affair with period piece movies and all things Victorian, vintage, and old English royals is no secret. I love soft, romantic, bright, boho, dreamy things that make the world a little more beautiful to look at.

More than anything, I love the feeling that by being as honest as I can about myself and my own struggles and insecurities, that I could help make anyone else feel more comfortable in their own skin.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Xo,
Camille
